Origin Story
Origin Story
The name "Tell A Tale" was inspired by long nights at the Poultney River while attending Green Mountain College. It was a tradition for folks to place a pallet on the fire and let it burn while someone stood up on the burning pallet to 'tell a tale'. Out of the mischief and lore that took place down at the Poultney River, Tell A Tale Farm was born. We are telling a tale of a new food system here in Rutland County, a food system built on ecological practices, nutrition, and providing organic produce to our local communities.
