CSA Box

What is a "CSA" and how does it work?

The term CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and we take that to heart. A CSA with Tell A Tale Farm is more than just a box of fresh, delicious produce that you'll receive weekly - it's also an investment in the future of our community. A future with a more resilient, sustainable, and regenerative food system, here in central Vermont.

Each week you'll pick up your share at our farm stand at 640 Creek Rd.

A share is a weekly supply of our freshest available produce - priced and sized for your needs. A medium share should feed a pair comfortably, while a family with children might prefer a large. In addition to common items in seasonal abundance, choose from an ever-changing assortment of vegetables.

We grow a wide variety of organic produce, from old standards like mixed greens and onions to more unconventional items like Tokyo Bekana, radicchio, and tumeric.

View our current CSA brochure and crop calendar, for a more in-depth description of what is available and when.

"This was my first time buying a CSA, I wanted to support Phil and be a part of the agricultural community. As it went on, I learned more about the farm and how things are done. I grew to look forward to it, and it felt good to be a part of what he's doing out there. The baskets were always good quality, and he finished it off with a beautiful local turkey. The CSA is the way to go if you like eating local."
